1. I would recommend knowing your arch type. I personally, know how my feet are arched which gives me a good idea of my limitations. This would give me the answers of whether I can go higher or need to go lower. Consult your podiatrist to know your arch type. Anyway, if you can’t go to a podiatrist, you can always wet your feet and step on a paper towel. This will leave a footprint which will show you your arch type. If there isn’t much of a mark on the paper towel, that would mean you have a high arch. More detailed footprints however, have lower arches.
2. Invest in comfort. I personally prefer shoes that make me feel comfortable. I don’t really care whether they are fit for a catwalk as long as I can wear them without putting much of an effort to hide my discomfort. 3. Go for decent pricing. Some brands just charge too much for their shoes when in fact you can purchase the same kind and design for much lower pricing.
