Most of the time, the problems that you can run into with your high heels aren’t that serious at all. Usually, it only takes a little bit of ingenuity, patience, and practice to get things done. Repairing your broken high heels can be a breeze and you don’t have to spend that much money too. Here are some ways on how you can mend broken shoes in no time:
Replacing old heel caps – high heels are prone to damage and the part that usually takes all the beating are the heel tips. To replace them, you need to take them out first using a pair of pliers. Doing so exposes a hole or two which the new heel tips will be placed. Purchase a new set of heel tips and glue them on to the heels then let the glue cure and dry.
Mending loose heels – when you notice that your heels are loose, that means there is a problem with the glued section of the shoe. On some brands, this may indicate that the joined pieces need further fastening. Superglue can easily fix this concern but on certain instances, you may need to nail the heels down by lifting the insole then nailing the heels firmly.
