What is high fashion? A lot of people really believe that high fashion is somewhat the next hot thing or the kind of clothing that can be the next trend. On contrary to popular belief, high fashion is basically high quality clothing that are usually custom made. Think of your dress perhaps. If you bought that dress out of a local boutique, the chances are you would see people wearing the same dress as you are and that’s just a pain to see. High fashion offers uniqueness that custom clothing can offer. High quality textiles are made to make these clothing.
Although not necessarily new, high fashion can also be branched out to more vintage clothing and apparel. Back in the day, the manufacturing of clothing had more man power involved in it and had that personal touch whereas now, clothes are made almost entirely by machines which make production easy. However, you would easily a lot of people wearing the same clothing as you are. But if you don’t really mind, that’s fine too.
High heeled shoes can be great examples of high fashion. Ever seen Lady Gaga walk up on stage? She’s got a different set of clothing each time and can range from stunning to strange. Her high heels in particular are out of this world insane and you just can’t find them anywhere else.
